Overview

Tourcard is a show calendar tool for touring musicians. We exist to help you share your upcoming dates — not to monetize your data. We collect only what we need to run the service, and nothing more.

What we collect

  • Email address — used for authentication (magic link sign-in) and service communications.
  • Display name — shown on your public Tourcard page.
  • Show data — dates, venues, cities, and countries you add to your calendar.
  • Avatar and banner images — uploaded by you for your public profile.

That's it. We don't collect device fingerprints, IP-based location data, or browsing behavior.

Why we collect it

Every piece of data we store serves one purpose: providing and improving the Tourcard service. Your email authenticates your account. Your show data powers your public calendar. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purpose.

Authentication

We use magic link authentication via email. There are no passwords stored on our servers. When you sign in, we send a one-time link to your email address. Auth is handled by Auth.js.

Payments

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

No tracking, no ads

Tourcard does not use tracking pixels, analytics scripts, third-party ad networks, or any form of behavioral tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to keep you signed in. No analytics cookies, no marketing cookies, no third-party cookies.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United States. The application is hosted on Vercel. Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate. We do not retain your data after deletion.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of Tourcard after changes constitutes acceptance.
